The purpose of this guide is to give approved Nebraska Alumni Association affiliates access and guidelines for proper usage of the Nebraska Alumni Association logos and trade name. The Nebraska Alumni Association logo is a federally registered mark and may not be altered, distorted or skewed in any manner.
The Nebraska Alumni Association Logo
The logos are available for download only for the purpose of affiliate Web sites and publications such as newsletters and postcards. Any reproduction of these logos on merchandise, cards, or pieces other than newsletters and Web sites must be approved and/or properly licensed by contacting the Nebraska Alumni Association at 888-353-1874. Proper use will be strictly enforced.
The Nebraska Alumni Association Name
In print, the preferred name of the organization is the “Nebraska Alumni Association.” After first mention, repeated statement of the name may be shortened to the “Alumni Association” or “Association.” We do NOT recommend using any acronym such as UNAA or UNLAA, but if an acronym cannot be avoided and must be used, please refer to the Nebraska Alumni Association as NAA.
